Travelers Turn More to AI for Trip Planning
Source: TravelPulse, March trend still highly relevant to current behavior
Recent data cited by TravelPulse shows that 56 percent of travelers used AI for at least one trip in the past 12 months, up from 43 percent in late 2025 and more than double 2024 levels. This confirms that AI-based planning tools and assistants have moved from early-adopter novelty to mainstream usage, especially in the U.S. leisure market.
Impact on Travel & Hospitality
With a majority of travelers already experimenting with AI planning, hotels and travel brands that are not integrated into AI discovery and booking flows will steadily lose visibility and direct demand.
