Cybersecurity has become so complex and fast moving that it is nearly impossible to manage unless responsibility is shared across an entire organization, according to Wiz cofounder and CTO Ami Luttwak. He argues that modern cloud environments change constantly, making traditional security models that rely on a small central team ineffective at catching risks in time. Instead, security needs to be built into everyday workflows so developers, engineers, and business leaders all understand and help manage risk as they build and operate systems. This shift treats security as a core part of how companies function rather than a final checkpoint before launch. Luttwak says this collective approach is essential as threats grow more automated, scalable, and difficult to detect.
