Chinese robotics firm AgiBot has launched “Qingtian Rent,” a new rental platform that lets customers hire humanoid and other robots for events and tasks like weddings, business meetings, concerts, trade shows, and more, with 16 different use scenarios available. The service offers a range of machines—from dancing robots and robot dogs to the more advanced Yuanzheng A2 humanoid—with daily rental prices varying by model (e.g., roughly $1,380 per day for the A2) and all fees including support and delivery. Qingtian Rent already operates in about 50 Chinese cities with over 1,000 robots and 600 service providers onboard, and AgiBot plans to expand to more than 200 cities by next year, build a large rental network, involve thousands of content creators, and serve hundreds of thousands of customers. This effort reflects a broader push in China to scale up humanoid robotics in real-world applications and grow the “robots as a service” market.
