Microsoft introduced Teams Mode for Microsoft 365 Copilot, allowing users to bring coworkers into shared AI conversations directly within Microsoft Teams. The new feature turns individual Copilot chats into group discussions, enabling teams to collaborate on research, planning, and document creation with AI support. Users can control which parts of their private Copilot chats are shared, while data permissions and file access remain protected by existing Microsoft 365 controls. Teams can now ask Copilot questions collaboratively, build strategy documents, or manage projects in real time. The feature is rolling out in public preview across desktop, mobile, and web for licensed Microsoft 365 Copilot users.
