OpenAI has launched OpenAI Frontier, a new enterprise platform designed to help large organizations build, deploy, and manage AI agents that can perform real work across business systems. Frontier gives these agents shared business context, onboarding, learning feedback loops, and controlled identities and permissions so they can operate reliably within existing infrastructure like CRM systems, data warehouses, and internal applications without forcing companies to replatform. The platform organizes and governs AI agents much like a workforce, enabling them to reason over data, use tools, automate end-to-end workflows, and improve over time as they gain experience. Frontier also supports agents created in-house or by third parties, integrates with existing tools, and is initially available to a limited group of customers with broader access coming soon
