Google has released a new image-generation and editing model called Nano Banana Pro that specifically addresses the persistent problem of AI-generated images containing typos or distorted text. The model improves how it places, styles and renders text in visuals, especially across languages, so it can better handle infographics, diagrams and design-heavy use cases. Alongside improved text rendering, Google says the underlying model (part of its Gemini family) also brings stronger reasoning and coding-ability, and will be made available to free and paid users under different quotas.
